About Fog City Research Association
Fog City Research Association (FCRA) is a scientific and educational non-profit committed to expanding STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education through high-quality educational programming. Our work spans K-12 schools to universities, with a focus on creating opportunities to engage in hands-on, project-based learning. Research shows that students who participate in in extracurricular STEM activities are significantly more likely to pursue and succeed in STEM fields - but access to these programs is often limited in under-resourced schools and communities. We aim to close that gap by offering educational workshops, mentoring, and financial and organizational assistance
